About the Role
1) Maintains the motivation, efficiency, training and operations of the staff members in the Performance/Accountability Department, Marketing/Sales Strategy Department, Procurement/Contracts Department, and Compliance Department to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures as well as alignment with the fiscal year goals.
2) Supports and partners with the General Manager and Board of Directors on all major fundraising initiatives.
3) Collaborates with the Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer to develop and implement financial strategy
4) Actively works with the General Manager and Senior Management Team to develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy to include corporate, foundation, government grants, etc.
5) Develops and executes all proposals; writes and archives all proposals with a long-term relationship management approach.
6) Monitors all donor information; provides and presents statistical analysis to board and senior leaders
7) Develops and implements a stewardship program aimed at cultivating deeper ties with donors.
8) Monitors and reports regularly on the progress of the development program.
9) Assists the General Manager to develop strategic plans and roadmaps for business growth.
10) Identifies, recommends, negotiates, structures and obtains internal approvals for acquisitions of potential business targets
11) Works with business units and external advisors and consultants, to evaluate and conduct complex financial and risk analysis of business opportunities
12) Effectively organizes, manages and completes all due diligence projects
13) Guides and supports post acquisition integration
14) Assists the General Manager, to manage and monitor investment portfolio
15) Leads and oversees the development and establishment of grant administration system
16) Works with staff to process and submit grant agreement amendments, revitalization plan amendments, and track through implementation
17) In conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer, establishes, maintains and tracks budgets for all projects through the close out phase; works to ensure the efficient and timely use of financial resources
18) Builds and maintains constructive and effective relationship management with the City, the Development Authority, and other vital partnerships to ensure achievements and accomplishments in public improvement funding for developments, and successful participation in designated tax allocation districts.
19) Supervises the Project Managers and define revitalization project grant requirements to ensure that all scheduled milestones for planned development activities by development partners are in compliance with the applicable regulatory and contractual requirements and reports accurately on a quarterly basis.
20) Monitors the revitalization activities by private development partners, focusing on consistent management procedures related to determining project specific development agreement contract compliance.
21) In collaboration with Project Managers, prepares weekly status reports for Senior Management to facilitate, review and monitor critical development issues on a project specific basis
22) Provides leadership support and guidance to Project Managers, Resident Services, Relocation and Planning Committees in developing and maintaining successful community and other external relationships, coordinates redevelopment activities with relocation on an ongoing basis
23) Develops and implements community action programs and services in accordance with budgetary limitations and guidelines. Oversees the performance and effectiveness of these programs and services.
24) Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Performance and Accountability Officer
Requirements
Ø Education: Candidate must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in business administration or Management may also be required.
Ø Constitutional Requirements: Candidate must be a general member of the Eagles Membership Association for at least three (3) fiscal years in good standing
Ø Experience: Candidate must have at least three years of senior leadership and/or management.
Ø Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondences and memos, ability to write and speak English well, ability to effectively present information in one on one and group situations to staff members and the general public.
Ø General Skills: Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic math, ability to correctly use office equipment, accurate typing skills and computer knowledge. Position Summary
The Associate General Manager of Corporate Performance & Community Relations, a member of the executive management team, is responsible for the development, management and oversight of community affairs and relations as well as the resource and funding development of the Indian Forest Companies Incorporated. The Associate General Manager will design and implement a comprehensive plan for developing key external alliances by cultivating individual and philanthropic support.
